Flextile 44 High Solids Thin-Set Mortar Additive is suitable for use as an additive for admixture with thin-set mortars such as Flextile 51 Floor & Wall Mix, Flextile 53 Floor Mix, or Flextile 54 Wall Mix. Mortars mixed with Flextile 44 High Solids Thin-Set Mortar Additive in place of water are suitable for use in installing porcelain tile, marble, slate, quarry tile, pavers, ceramic mosaics and all types of absorptive or non-absorptive ceramic tiles on properly prepared vertical or horizontal surfaces of concrete, masonry, terrazzo, concrete backer units, existing surfaces of well-bonded ceramic or marble tile, vinyl asbestos tile* or VCT* or other non-cushioned vinyl flooring* or, in dry interior areas only, exterior grade plywood or gypsum board. The high latex solids content of 44 High Solids Thin-Set Mortar Additive increases safety margins on exterior applications where thermal expansion / contraction of tiles is a concern, where extreme freeze / thaw conditions exist, in water immersion applications and in other critical situations.
